I am also very low tech.  I tried typing my students comments once and
it took much longer than I was willing to devote, plus I have no TA
support.  Now I have students turn in TYPED written comments on each
team member as a homework assignment.  Then I just cut them apart, sort
them by student who the comment applies to, and return them to the
students the next day in class.  It is much faster.  I skim the comments
in case any are too rude.  I haven't had to edit any yet, but you never
know.

 

On the same day the comments are due, we do numerical ratings in class.
