I am also very low tech. I tried typing my students comments once and it took much longer than I was willing to devote, plus I have no TA support. Now I have students turn in TYPED written comments on each team member as a homework assignment. Then I just cut them apart, sort them by student who the comment applies to, and return them to the students the next day in class. It is much faster. I skim the comments in case any are too rude. I haven't had to edit any yet, but you never know. On the same day the comments are due, we do numerical ratings in class.
