Currently, I have 5 modules (that will take up the whole semester), and my grading scheme is set up so that each module is graded separately. So after each module’s final assessment, I’ll assign each student a “final grade” for that module. What do you think about this? My only concern is that I will still want to scale the team portions at the end of the semester using the peer-evaluations, so the module grades might mislead some students. However, it sounds like it would be a bad idea to do a summative peer evaluation after every module. (I’m planning on doing formative peer evaluations after each module.)
Any feedback would be much appreciated!
