If this is of help, below are some other articles.  According to the 3rd
article below (Outcomes for black students), one potential source for
concern is the peer evaluation component, which may hurt underrepresented
students due to bias.  One potential strategy to mitigate this bias might
be to include a bias statement on the peer evaluation form such as here:
