Dear colleagues,

Team-Based Learning is a method for engaging students, improving their
learning outcomes, and improving student retention. In addition, it makes
teaching fun! You can now build your knowledge in Team-Based Learning by
completing online the five workshops for the Certificate: Knowledge of the
Fundamentals of TBL <http://www.teambasedlearning.org/tblc-certifications/>.
<http://www.teambasedlearning.org/tblc-certifications/> This is offered by
the Team-Based Learning Collaborative (TBLC)
<http://www.teambasedlearning.org/> in association with InteDashboard
<https://www.intedashboard.com/>. This is the same certificate that is
delivered at the TBLC Annual Conference, but is offered online by the same
TBL Consultants using InteDashboard. We have conducted over 65 online TBL
faculty development workshops and 70% of our last cohort's participants
gave the program a perfect 5/5 rating.

*You will learn:*

   - The essentials of the TBL process
   - How to identify and address common challenges in TBL module development
   - How to become more effective by improving your facilitation skills to
   create a positive learning environment
   - How to improve student teamwork for learning effectiveness and
   engagement
   - How to use InteDashboard for online TBL as a student

*Five workshops included in the series are:*

   1. Fundamental Principles and Practices of TBL
   2. Creating an Effective TBL Module
   3. Evaluating MCQs for RAT and Application Activities
   4. Improving Facilitation Skills for a TBL Classroom
   5. Peer Feedback and Evaluation

Check the *learning objectives* for each of the workshops on the TBL
Fundamentals Series site here
<https://www.eventbrite.com/e/tbl-fundamentals-series-tickets-119982521953>.

These online workshops offer the same quality content as the face-to-face
workshop series, with the added bonus of learning from educators from
around the globe, while sitting in your office or at home. Taught in TBL
style, these courses will demonstrate effective TBL delivery in the online
environment while you build your own professional capabilities. On
completion, you would be eligible to apply for the Knowledge of the
Fundamentals of TBL certificate
<http://www.teambasedlearning.org/tblc-certifications/> from the TBLC.

*Workshop timing:*

The five workshops are delivered in online synchronous modality using Zoom
video conferencing and InteDashboard over a period of 2.5 weeks.
