In my last 2 TBL classes, I set up the sequence as follows:

1. Assigned reading for the week (1 - 2 chapters)
2. iRAT on assigned reading fro the previous week
3. tRAT
4. Application exercise

Yet, the book states: "Each unit of a TBL course begins with a readiness assurance process (RAP), which occurs at least five to seven times each term."

I don't understand how you can do tRATS/application unless students have read and been tested on their assigned reading.

What am I missing?

Thanks,

Ron Carson
