Hi David, Charles and others interested in Randomsied Controlled Trials (RCT) in education.

I recently did a RCT in a mathematics. I use ideas from TBL in the context of the flipped classroom, with some success.
Unfortunately I have not been able to let the team effort count in the individual grade of the students yet.

The results will appear in 2016 in Active Learning in Higher Education. A pre-print is available here:

Frederick Mosteller (famous statistician) has edited a book on RCTs in education. http://www.amazon.com/Evidence-Matters-Randomized-Education-Research/dp/0815702051/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1449079619&sr=8-2&keywords=mosteller+education <http://www.amazon.com/Evidence-Matters-Randomized-Education-Research/dp/0815702051/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1449079619&sr=8-2&keywords=mosteller+education>

Kind regards, Njål

Many of us (I speak for myself) are not statisticians and could certainly be inspired to work with someone with your background! Thanks for reaching you and keep me in the loop…I might be able to contribute in some way or another (e.g. as an intervention group, etc.).
