Our students begin Medical school working with Duke Corporate Education that does teamwork activities with businesses. One of the activities that they do that is designed to help the teams think about their roles is called the Six Hats for Parallel thinking. Here are a couple of links that might help you set something like that up. (http://artsfwd.org/activity-six-hats/; http://www.debonogroup.com/six_thinking_hats.php; )

Subject: Getting students to think about various team roles

Dear TBLers,

Does anyone have an effective activity that has team members thinking broadly about the various roles of team-members? I'd like to develop an activity that has team members getting to know each other and thinking about the various roles they may play within a team.

Manda
