Hi John,

I have been using the online testing function in our LMS which is based on
Moodle. In the testing function, I am able to set up a tRAT as if they were
an IF/AT question card by using adaptive mode under the Question behaviour
setting for the quiz. This additionally requires that each question
imported into the tRAT is set so that the marks awarded for a question
decrease with each attempt. I set mine to 3, 2, 1, 0.

When the course is online, teams are sent to a Zoom breakout room and I
grant one team-member access to their tRAT (I can set this in Moodle to a
specific student). Then, that team member who is inputting the answers for
their team shares their screen with the other in their team through Zoom.
When the class is F2F teams gather around the person's laptop who is
inputting the answers for the team.

This is not as satisfactory an experience as the IF/AT cards, but it is a
reasonable approximation: there is something joyous in the
corporate experience of scratching off the cards. But this has been my
solution.

Cheers,

Neil
