Hi there David,

I am supportive of this idea…and the TBL literature certainly could use much more quantitative controlled data. Many of us (I speak for myself) are not statisticians and could certainly be inspired to work with someone with your background! Thanks for reaching you and keep me in the loop…I might be able to contribute in some way or another (e.g. as an intervention group, etc.).

Sincerely,

Charles

Subject: experimental interventions

Would there be any interest among members of this group in conducting randomized experiments of specific aspects of team learning.

There are a large number of members and many are tinkering with specific aspects of team learning.

Some aspects could be could be varied randomly and fairly rigorous conclusions made.

These would probably be group-randomized designs, some randomized across institutions and some randomized within.

Measured results would include both objective measures and attitudes and beliefs, which are also worth examining.

Regards,
