HI

A number of people wanted to be updated on procedure to access TBL cases at
Med Ed Portal

1. You can register on Med Ed portal site and get access to non-restricted
collections (TBL cases are restricted)
2. You can search for abstracts of TBL cases but canšt download cases
without special permission
3. There is no indication at abstract level of how to get access....if you
happen to click on title of abstract...it takes you to a details page that
does have instructions on how to gain access

Access to Restricted collections

1. you send email to Med Ed administrator requesting access (email address
on detail page behind abstract)....wait 24 hours
2. they send you a link to a survey where you outline your credentials and
someone to vouch for you.....your HR person or another TBL case
authour....they contact your sponsor and verify your credentials.......wait
72 hours
3. they send you a zipped file with case and licensing

Ruth Levinešs advice to contact the case authour directly is probably the
most efficient and timely
