Thanks, Melissa!  This is a nice readable piece.  :-)

I foresee the conversation between peer instruction and TBL growing increasingly robust over the next few years.

Both are excellent approaches with strengths in different areas-I wonder if we could ever develop a quick checklist to help instructors choose which of the two would be best for them?
