Would also cite the following. Not specific to TBL but very strong evidence for adopting active approaches.

Hi

Really quickly here are some resources

I have RAPs and applications if you want some samples....mostly from 2nd year mech design and a graduate aerodynamics course

The new TBL book has many engineering examples in appendix 2....although the appendix is about reporting strategies...they are mostly output of engineering problems

You could also look up TBL and Math...their are a few papers out there (Judy Paterson is author)

Take care

jim

Subject: Team-based Learning in Engineering

Hi,

We are looking at sharing the use of TBL at our university in a local conference. We like to make reference to research on the use of TBL in Engineering. Thus far, we were unable to find any through Google scholar and our library. Does anyone know of any literature for the use of TBL in Engineering? We would be happy to cite if there are. Thank you.
