POGIL is "Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning". Students learn course
material through a guided problem-solving model. The website is
www.POGIL.org. It was originally designed for chemistry students, but has
been expanded to include biology models, and should work for any discipline
that does problem-solving. It is quite compatible with TBL, but does not in
and of itself focus on team work or team building, but rather on problem
solving.
Hope this helps a bit,
Tammy
