I am sending this email for a couple of reasons.

First, I just want to be sure it is working properly.  Several people have
signed up for from the TBL website but we have not tested it yet.  If you
receive this email, please let me know but REPLY TO ME, not to the

Second, I want to update people on a few upcoming events related to TBL.
    * We have added one course description to TBL website in the section on
"TBL courses in action."  This is a microbiology course.  Another course
will be added soon, on kinesiology.
    * In a few weeks, we hope to be ready to add the video material.  It
has been put together but we have three "clean-up" corrections to make.
    * The book on TBL is scheduled to be released at the end of
November.  It is being published by Praeger (Westport, CT).
Third, if you have any questions or suggestions for the website, we would
love to hear from you.

We're glad you have signed up for the TBL listserv and hope we can make it
productive for each of you.
