Speaking of peer evaluations...

I've made great use of the items on the TBL site about to give constructive feedback. Does anyone have handouts or articles about *accepting* feedback? I teach freshmen, and last year I had a few in tears because they'd never been critiqued before. (These were not outrageous criticisms; one overachiever was told she needed to trust other people to do their part rather than rushing in and doing the work. She was heartbroken that they thought that.)

I do have them complete a self-reflection after they receive their team's feedback, so that could be used as part of the acceptance process, too. Advice appreciated.

Thanks so much!
Candice
