Good morning, Bill.  I enjoyed reading the "Teaching Professor Blog" you linked to your last post. Most of what was discussed in
the blog referred to summative feedback--which may be useful to guard against grade inflation, but when implementing as an "elixir" is
not likely to be very effective.

TBL implementation that relies too heavily on confidential summative feedback (end of term or end of project 'helping behavior') without
implementing intentional formative feedback, is less likely to have a substantial impact on individual accountability or either group processing or productivity.

In the most recent TBL text (Team-Based Learning in the Social Sciences and Humanities--which is linked below) I wrote a chapter on the
critical elements of feedback that contribute most to individual accountability and group productivity.  The chapter may provide an additional
dimension to the peer assessment discussion.
