Masha Gessen, a well-known Russian and American journalist, author and activist, who has written on Vladimir Putin, Pussy Riot and LGBT rights, among other issues will be visiting UBC soon, giving a lecture and meeting with students. For more info on Gessen see the attached flyer or just Google her name.
