About the workshop: This workshop will be an introduction to Team-based Learning (TBL) conducted in online TBL format. The goal of this workshop is for participants to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the fundamental components, sequence of events, and benefits of TBL.

About the Panel Discussion: This workshop has been designed to provide educators with a better understanding of the different types of cognitive load and how to modify the readiness process to optimize cognitive load. 

Attendees will learn about the basic tenets of cognitive load theory, how it can inform the design of pre-class materials, and practical ways to exchange unnecessary cognitive load with productive cognitive load.

About the workshop: Hear from our panelists on how they led the transition of their pharmacy program from a traditional, didactic model to a fully-integrated program delivered predominantly by Team-based Learning (TBL). Participants will get a chance to ask them questions about strategies, best practices, and tips on scaling TBL in an institution.
