There are many reasons why instructors incorporate team-based learning as an instructional strategy to facilitate learning for their students. Team-based learning:

promotes higher engagement and makes learning fun for students in in-person, online, and hybrid settings
follows the learning sciences principles, helping students develop higher-order thinking skills
adheres to the principles of cognitive load theory, promoting deepened learning retention

Join us on June 8 from 10 am - to 12 pm EDT for a hands-on workshop on Introduction to Team-based Learning. Learn about the fundamentals of team-based learning and find how you can incorporate this instructional strategy into your teaching!
