Thanks to Neal for the very helpful videos he shared last year on how to set up iRATs and tRATs in Qualtrics! I used Qualtrics last year out of necessity during online teaching, and I decided to continue using Qualtrics (instead of scantron and IF-AT) this year by choice even though my university has returned to in-person teaching. The Qualtrics approach works great, and also saves paper...

There are also some color changing markers that work with invisible ink.  You mark the right answer in invisible ink and the students use the marker and know it’s the right answer if the ink changes color.  You can also set up a Qualtrics survey.

Jim,
This is really disappointing news but I suppose not such a surprise.
Thanks for letting us know. All of us who use these cards will be anxious to hear about other solutions.
Cheers-

Subject: IF-AT update

External Email.

Hi

I posted to listserv awhile about difficulty getting my IF-AT orders filled

Here is an update

The company is in disarray - no orders during COVID ended them

After much pestering - they did contact me to say they would not fill my order

Mike Epstein who invented IF-AT's phoned me last week to see if I had any ideas on how to get them back into production - he is looking into licensing the technology to different company - this could take a while

So I really don't have any interim solution except to perhaps ask the listserv for the specific cards you need and see if anyone has some extras?

jim
