About the FTBL:
The FTBL is a comprehensive fellowship and Train-the-Trainer programme. This is a two year programme, consisting of 2 unique developmental series. The FTBL is designed for those who would like to seriously
consider implementing TBL into their curriculum and would like consultation and guidance along the way in developing, implementing, and evaluating the activity. It will also offer a process by which one can get certified as a trainer of basic TBL and therefore
suitable for those who have been asked to train others in this teaching methodology.
Series 1
introduces and trains on all the elements of preparing effective TBL modules – i.e. what they are, objectives, writing MCQs and applications, effective facilitation, and action planning. TBLC-registered participants can
look forward to receiving the Knowledge of the Fundamentals of TBL certificate from TBLC.
Series 2
is an advanced course after one has attempted to run some TBL modules. It focuses on scholarship, peer review and feedback, and advanced facilitation skills. TBLC-registered participants can look forward to hands-on guidance
and mentorship to help them achieve either the Practitioner of TBL or
Trainer-Consultant in TBL certificates from TBLC.
Best regards,
