The American Psychologist (APA journal) just released a special edition on the Science of Team Work. One thing which caught my attention is the focus on debriefing. Now we use peer and self-evaluation in TBL but in my classes, there hasn't the time to do an actual for debriefing. I do provide a Team Development Intervention (TDI) in the form of a team-building exercise at mid-term but we don't actually take the time for each team to do a formal debriefing. I was wondering if anyone else does some kind of formal debriefing after the application exercise to help teams evaluate their performance and look for improvement measures? -- Herb Coleman, Ph.D Adjunct Professor of Psychology and Student Development *RETIRED-*-Dir.
