The American Psychologist (APA journal) just released a special edition on the Science of Team Work.  One thing which caught my attention is the focus on debriefing.  Now we use peer and self-evaluation in TBL but in my classes, there hasn't the time to do an actual for debriefing. I do provide a Team Development Intervention (TDI) in the form of a team-building exercise at mid-term but we don't actually take the time for each team to do a formal debriefing.

I was wondering if anyone else does some kind of formal debriefing after the application exercise to help teams evaluate their performance and look for improvement measures?

“Keep working, keep striving, never give up.  Fall down 7 times get up 8. Without commitment, you’ll never start. But more importantly, without consistency, you’ll never finish.  Ease is a greater threat to progress than hardship.  So, keep moving, keep growing, keep learning.  See you at work.
