Dear Tessa, You might be interested in the qualitative approach that I use in my courses to systematically evaluate TBL as well as individual teaching activities/pedagogies. This is described in a recently-published paper.
I am collaborating with a number of teams in different disciplines to carry out research into teaching as well as teaching evaluation. You are welcome to contact me direct if you think that I can help.
I am also helping to organise a Research Development Day at the coming Team-Based Learning Collaborative Annual Conference in San Diego on 1 March 2018. Perhaps you might organise to take part in this.

Hello!
I am wondering if anyone has an evaluation of teaching TBL that they would like to share? We are creating instructor evaluations and I am looking for items that could be used to evaluate an instructor’s implementation of TBL in the classroom.
I’m also interested in evaluations that can evaluate an instructor’s use of active learning strategies in general.
