Hi Marit, We have student draw up a contract on how they are going to work together for the rest of the year. Sort of rules they have to agree on. We also have a few applications based on the peer assessment procedure; such as: Your expected to provide your team members with feedback, in each TBL week, after the third application session. The peer feedback you receive counts of 15% of the TBL grade. The qualitative feedback from your team members is part of your digital portfolio and is graded for your professional development. Because everybody wants an opportunity to improve her/himself, you are counting on your team members to provide you with specific and constructive feedback. * What do you as a team agree on if one team member did not upload the feedback form on time, so the others did not receive their peer feedback? a. Everybody could forget to do this sometimes, so it could happen to all of us. b. That person will not receive peer feedback from any-one in the next session c. This team member gets a score of 1 on the feedback form, after the next TBL session d. This team member will be confronted with such unwanted behaviour e. The other team members go to the team mentor and talk to him about it. Good luck! My students have been asked to read the syllabus and following Team formation and team introductions tomorrow we will do I-RAT and T-RAT based on the syllabus. Wanted to add an application - not necessarily related to the class topic (anthropology of religion) - but perhaps related to learning and team work - so the students are introduced to the application format on the same day. Lacking creativity at the moment and thought I would ask.
