Our team points in most of our courses just come from tRAT score….the TBL component is most of our course doesn’t exceed 35%….more typically it is 25%…10% iRATs…10% tRATs….5% peer evaluation….the rest of assessment is very traditional…midterms, finals, individual homework assignments

I have to agree that grading of team exercises (application activities) can lend to students being more concerned with getting the right answer and less about discussion; and grading does limit the scope of questions.  However, if team exercises aren't graded then where do the points for Team Work come from?
