I am located at a small 2-year college in Texas. We are considering a proposal that will support extensive professional development for our nursing faculty using “evidence-based approaches.” The goal of the program
is to increase retention of students from disadvantaged backgrounds. The nursing faculty have elected, if the project is funded, to adopt Team-based Learning.
I am writing the listserve to ask for recommendations for a TBL consultant that has a
strong background in nursing education using TBL. I see a few potentials on the consultant list on the TBL Collaborative website but none located in the US that have direct experience in nursing education.
I am looking for recommendations. The individual does not have to be a registered “consultant”, perhaps someone that has taught nursing courses successfully using TBL for several years.
