There are now several systems for carrying out team contribution evaluations. I have been using SPARK (http://spark.uts.edu.au/ ) for
4 years and have found it to be robust and reliable. I can enter my own questions, and it generates the data that I use to moderate individual marks when using it for summative purposes.
There is a reasonable amount of literature about SPARK. For example (relating to formative and summative use):
It would be good to have a session on team evaluation systems at the 2016 TBLC Conference in Albuquerque. In particular, I think it would be good to have users of different
systems make up a panel.
