Thank you Neil. There are now several systems for carrying out team contribution evaluations. I have been using SPARK (http://spark.uts.edu.au/ ) for 4 years and have found it to be robust and reliable. I can enter my own questions, and it generates the data that I use to moderate individual marks when using it for summative purposes. There is a reasonable amount of literature about SPARK. For example (relating to formative and summative use): http://www.researchgate.net/profile/Mark_Freeman4/publication/228891321_Completing_the_learning_cycle_The_role_of_formative_feedback_when_using_self_and_peer_assessment_to_improve_teamwork_and_engagement/links/0c9605230fe7fc9466000000.pdf It would be good to have a session on team evaluation systems at the 2016 TBLC Conference in Albuquerque. In particular, I think it would be good to have users of different systems make up a panel.
