We have been using Examsoft for years and have not witnessed, heard, or
suspected any cheating similar to what you describe. Most of our students
who use Examsoft use all of the available time for an exam. The only test
security we use is that we have students sign out on a sheet of paper if
they leave the room more than 10 minutes before the end of the exam. We can
then check Examsoft to see that those students did not work on the exam
after they signed out.
