Anthony, I would suggest the appeals process is for just this issue. This student sounds as if they are either overly nervous and trying to find anything that may help, or has an axe to grind...both of which are not productive. If they have a content issue or concept they would like to discuss, I would leave it at that level, and refuse to go over the whole exam.
