Dear Naom, Whatever system you use, THE key thing you want to AVOID is having your students interpret your choices about your grading system as a way forcing them to give each other bad grades. They tend to push back on peer assessment anyway and, if they think they are being forced to give bad grades to each other, you are not likely to get honest evaluations and you are likely to get lots of complaints. In my case, I don't use the standard 90% = A, so the fact that the average is 10 of 10 is insignificant.
