Hi Jenny- In general our faculty will give 1-3 minutes per iRAT question, depending on the nature of the iRAT. For example, "simple" MCQ are usually in the 1-2 minute range, but questions requiring modeling or calculations will be given a bit more time. Most of our faculty give 5-10 question iRATs for each TBL unit. Our students will typically have 10-20 TBL units per semester-long course, depending on the instructor's approach to the material. I'd be grateful to hear about length of time others have allowed. Several students are complaining this is not enough time!
