Here's my opening powerpoint to create buy-in on the first day. To get the full effect, review in Slideshow mode. They are already sitting in their teams at this point and have prepared for their first RAT which is given in the 2nd hour. Many students have told me that they are skeptical on the first day but are quickly converted. These are graduate nurse practitioner students probably on a similar level as your pharm students. Hope it's helpful. Robin L. Do any of you have some good strategies that students have shared with you about jumping from lecture to TBL. Since our entire curriculum is TBL, stress of the change is a bit more acute. Thanks!
