Hi I have used an activity based on http://www.ntlf.com/html/ti/v17n5comp.pdf Basically Demo Application Activity Preamble With each activity the instructor will task all teams with coming to consensus on a specific problem that requires a decision or plan. You will then be given time within your team to discuss the question and options and arrive at a consensus answer for your team. When it is time to report, you will typically get your voting card ready and WAIT for the instructors signal to raise your card (voting card that indicates your teams position). The instructor will then facilitate a discussion where you may be required to defend your own position and critique other team’s positions. Sample Activity Thinking of what you want to get out of your college education and this course, which of the following is most important? A. Acquiring the information (facts,principles, concepts) B. What I’m struggling with is trying to find a ‘fun’ activity that could engage students to get used to being in their team and getting a sense of the whole process. If anyone has such an activity that they would be willing to share, please let me know. On a separate issue, we are planning on providing a summary of the individual scores and team scores for each of the four units of the module throughout the module. The summary would be placed in the team folders and would show team members’ scores by name and the overall team score, and a summary of all the team scores. If anyone else does this could you advise if you have any problems showing the student names and their scores?
