I've put in a question to the company to check on the time line, but there is an intent to roll out a self-paced feature with the iclicker2. I believe that this would only be a firmware update to the new receivers that work with the iclicker2. My impression had been that they hoped to have it ready relatively soon, but probably not next week. I haven't checked in some time, so I'll send an update when I hear back from them. I think that when there is self-pacing, there should also be a way to grade the entire quiz at once. Even though you don't really need the flexibility in the responses that are possible with iclicker2 to do a standard mc irat, when self-pacing becomes available, it might be worth thinking about making the change from the original to iclicker2. I doubt there would be a cost to the institution to make the change, but the new clickers will cost a few dollars more than the original ones. On the plus side, for mc questions the new system is backward compatible.
