We ask (demand)
students leave all phones/cameras in their bags at the side of the room. That is,
we conduct TBL under exam conditions. Only pencil and eraser allowed to the
desks (that we provide). No one has breached this, but obviously we remain
vigilant. We would take action if students breached the requirements.

Subject: Students copying question sheets?
Dear TBL friends,
Has anyone faced the situation where students use their
phones/PDAs etc to photograph/copy the question sheets before they are
collected?
Given the work involved in creating multiple choice question
banks, it is important to be able to carry them over from one class to the
next. I have 3 deliveries of the same course each year, so I would not be happy
if students were to retain the question sheets in one form or another.
