On November 24 at 4 pm Eastern (3 pm central) the Team-Based Learning Collaborative will be hosting its next Current Topics in TBL Webinar with an event profiling 3 TBL Practitioners. They will discuss many aspects of their TBL implementations: how they do it, how they got strated, and what they have learned along the way.

Francis Jones, from Earth and Ocean Sciences at the University of British Columbia, will talk about his TBL implementation in Geophysics for Engineers and some meta-cognition insights he has had about TBL.

Dean Parmelee, from the Boonshoft Medical School at Wright State University, will talk about the TBL implementation at Wright State undergraduate medical programme and some of his experience consulting to help school around the world implement TBL.

Pete Ostafichuk, from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of British Columbia, will talk about his TBL courses (both undergraduate and graduate). His second year mechanical design has run for 6 years in TBL format.

There will be some time to answer audience questions. Jim Sibley will be MC for the event and you can forward any questions you have for Larry directly to Jim ([log in to unmask]">[log in to unmask])
