Dear Colleagues: We invite you to the 8th Annual Conference on Team Based Learning in Higher Education, March 5-6, 2009 at the University of Texas in Austin, Texas. This year's meeting will be HISTORIC as this year the Team-Based Learning Collaborative officially expands its charter to become fully interdisciplinary! You are invited to submit proposal abstracts on any topics relevant to team based learning. We are asking for 3 different types of abstracts. 1) INTERACTIVE WORKSHOP ABSTRACTS DUE OCT 1. 90 - 120 minutes, lively and interactive with clear learning objectives. 2) ORAL PRESENTATION ABSTRACTS DUE NOV 1. 10-15 minute presentations of innovative projects or research to be delivered at a plenary session. 3) POSTER ABSTRACTS DUE JANUARY 1. Teaching innovations, research, etc.. Awards given for best poster!
