Dear Michael, Would "from the horses mouth" count? Robert Kamei (the Vice Dean for Education) and myself have been working very hard this past 18 months to indoctrinate about 200 faculty in the joys (and hard work) of TBL. The first year face-to-face class time is about 70% TBL, 30% labs and other small groups. Technically we do not lecture to them at all - but instead rely on the Duke (at Durham) video lectures, Powerpoints, and readings as the preparatory work for our TBL sessions. Our first class began on 1 August and we hope to have articles and outcomes to report on the experience as we see the joys and outcomes of this adventure.
