Hi TBL listserv, I am helping coordinate a team-based learning trial in an up-coming semester for a large Introductory Macroeconomics class - 1400 students in total, split into 6 streams run by 4 lecturers. The readiness assurance process will take place in short tutorials, each of approximately 20 students. I have seen previous posts refer to issues of large classes and macroeconomics and TBL, and these posts have been useful. I would be interested to know if anyone is running such a large scale instance of TBL? We are particularly concerned about issues of students copying I-RAT/T-RAT questions between streams. If you have any suggestions or experiences to share, I'd love to hear them. Many thanks, Lucy ---------------------- LUCY TAYLOR | Learning Technologies Officer | OFFICE OF LEARNING AND TEACHING IN ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS Faculty of Economics and Business Rm 396 Merewether Building (H04) The University of Sydney | NSW | 2006 P 61 2 9036 6453 | F 61 2 9351 6620 e [log in to unmask] | w www.econ.usyd.edu.au/OfficeOfLearningAndTeaching
