Colleagues: I have used TBL in my
Business Strategy classes since Fall 2001. I experience
the development of strategy case study-based exercises which are consistent
with TBL principles as a continuing challenge. I find that exercises which only
require the application of specific analytical models of limited scope are
readily adapted to the "analysis of complex issues-concrete decision"
guidance.
However, I find the development of
strategy case-based exercises meeting the "concrete decision" criteria,
yet requiring the integration of several types of information from case
information, analysis and theory to arrive at appropriate recommendations,
much more difficult.
I am looking forward to your
advice,
