2006 National Team-Based Learning Conference

Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to announce our upcoming Team-Based Learning in Medical & Health Sciences Education 5th Annual National Conference, March 2-4, 2006 at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Lubbock, Texas

More information at:  Direct link is http://www.ttuhsc.edu/som/cme/Flyers/Team/TBL_Brochure.pdf
Please join us for a transformative weekend of professional
development. Participants will learn principles and applications of
Team-Based Learning through hands-on workshops, interactive plenary
sessions and posters.
Team-Based Learning is a strategy to enhance the level of
interactive learning. Many educators find greater
satisfaction in their teaching. Students come to sessions on time,
prepared, and learn to work collaboratively within teams.
This conference is particularly suited for educators in pre-health and
health professions whose course content includes considerable problem
solving. At the conclusion of the conference, you will be able to use
this innovative method in your teaching and join the growing number of
educators who are excited to have a "new" approach for the
lecture-hall.
Please contact us if you have any questions.
Looking forward to seeing you at the conference.
