Hi Beth,

We have used TBL with team sizes of 5-6 members. The teams of 5 would operate
fine with 4 members when there were absences, etc. Last semester I had a very
small winter session class and used one team of 4 and one team of 3.

The only issue I could see is if the tasks for the module activities were
designed for a larger team. The team of four might feel at a disadvantage or
feel the assignment is unfair. In our Information Systems classes, this is not
the case and wasn't an issue. The assignments were collective in nature and
did not depend on the team size. This may vary depending on the course being
taught.
