Dear Esteemed Educators,

The Academic Medicine Education Institute (AM.EI) proudly invites you once again to join our Fellowship in Team-Based Learning (FTBL) 2018 intake, scheduled on the week of 2 to 6 April 2018!

Register before 28th February 2018 to enjoy our Early-Bird promotion1, which entitles you to up to a 20% discount off the usual price.

Please contact the programme executive at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> for more information on the course fees2.

About the FTBL:

The FTBL is essentially a comprehensive fellowship and Train-the-Trainer programme. This is a two year programme, consisting of 3 unique developmental series. The FTBL is designed for those who would like to seriously consider implementing TBL into their curriculum and would like consultation and guidance along the way in developing, implementing, and evaluating the activity. It will also offer a process by which one can get certified as a trainer of basic TBL and therefore suitable for those who have been asked to train others in this teaching methodology.

Series 1 introduces and trains on all the fundamental elements of preparing effective TBL modules - what they are, Objectives, Writing MCQs and Applications, Effective Facilitation, Programme Monitoring, and Peer Evaluation

Series 2 is an advanced course after one has attempted to run some TBL modules. This includes peer review and feedback, Advanced Facilitation skills, and making changes in your organization

Series 3 focuses on Scholarship, Mentoring and Train-the-Trainer

1 Starting from January 2016, all Singaporeans aged 25 and above are able to use their SkillsFuture Credit to register for the FTBL programme! Visit their website here<http://www.skillsfuture.sg/credit> for more information.

2 A limited number of scholarships will also be offered to applicants from underserved countries. Applications will be reviewed by our Course Directors on an individual case-by-case basis.

For more information, please visit our AM.EI Webpage here at https://www.academic-medicine.edu.sg/amei/faculty-development/amei.ftbl. Alternatively, you may view our official Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/AMEI.FTBL or our YouTube Channel at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JVl3f0z6d4s!
