The Office of Learning and Teaching in Economics and Business is dedicated to the provision of academic development through consultation, workshops, programs and scholarship of teaching, and provides support to students, staff and management.  The Office is currently seeking a Lecturer (Academic Adviser). This role will directly contribute to building the Faculty as a leading learning community through the strategic promotion and development of integrated learning programs. The position has a focus on the leadership of TBL (Team-Based Learning), including embedding and faculty development.

To succeed, the applicant will demonstrate excellence in working with faculty in designing for collaborative learning, integrating eLearning in teaching, and developing communities of practice. They will also possess a sound knowledge of fundamental teaching & learning principles and pedagogy, and consequentially its application in educational contexts. An awareness of current issues associated with learning technologies in higher education will also be required. Special consideration will be given to candidates with relevant qualifications in higher education.

The position is full-time fixed term for 12 months with a possible extension, subject to the completion of a satisfactory probation period for new appointees. Membership of a University approved superannuation scheme is a condition of employment for new appointees.

Remuneration package: up to $86,731 - $102,993 pro rata (which includes a base salary Lecturer Level B $73,289 - $87,030 p.a., leave loading and up to 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation).
