Bill,

Yes, I do wander around talking during team exercises. I also do a good amount 
of standing in front of the class at the board. I teach human biology, and I need 
visual aids when discussing anatomical structures. I also write out some answers 
from the teams, or create concept maps, etc.

I'm in a small lecture hall with fixed seating, so I can't get to the middle of the 
room. I walk around the periphery instead - same idea though.
