For someone who can include but not focus on TBL, I would recommend Dee Fink, author of "Designing Significant Learning Experiences."

Excellent, multi-level, research-literature driven, and incredibly accessible.

Subject: Assistance in Curriculum design

Hi all,

Our school is embarking on a curriculum redesign. We are looking for someone who can provide expertise in the process of curriculum design. Our president wants us to take a fresh look at the curriculum and start from the ground up.

I am not looking for someone specific to TBL, although I certainly am in favor of using it. I need someone who can provide a fresh perspective on how to go about the process, where you start, how to use what you already have to best advantage, how to integrate new technology and teaching methods, etc.

If you have any suggestions for someone who does this sort of thing, I would greatly appreciate the recommendation. I am not necessarily only looking for someone in the health sciences area; in fact, it may be better to have a more objective "outside" perspective.

Thanks
