Hi all,
I'm looking for a couple of suggestions for studies to use for a 1st day (... show them what TBL is like) activity. For example, someone (I think it was Jim Sibley... ) sent around a link to a study that compared learning from lectures with three levels of fact density. I'd like to create an activity where I'd summarize the methods and then ask ad hoc teams to predict the findings. Anyone have suggestions of studies like what I'm looking for? I'm particularly interested in studies where the findings might seem counter-intuitive to students. Thanks. Karla
